The 2022 NE 4-D Finals are scheduled for October 14-16, 2022 at the Custer County Fairgrounds indoor arena in Broken Bow, NE. There will be added money each day (which comes from all memberships dues) – in 2021 there was $4,000 added on Saturday and $4,000 added on Sunday for the Open run. Prizes to the top 10 in the average in each division (covered by the awards fee at each NE 4-D approved race). The average is the combined time of the Saturday and Sunday barrel races. There was also $250 added on Saturday and $250 added on Sunday for the Youth class in 2021. Prizes will also be given to youth placing in the average. We hope to have as much added money in 2022 as we did in 2021. The NE 4-D State Finals is a "clean slate" barrel race event. No points will be kept or used to determine standings or qualification to the event. To be eligible to compete in the 2022 NE 4D Finals an individual must be a member of the NE 4-D Association in good standing and have competed in at least one (1) approved barrel race between October 1, 2021 and September 30, 2022.

There will be a NE 4-D Finals Warm-Up Race held on Friday, October 14,2022 the evening before the Saturday/Sunday State Finals barrel races. In 2021 there was $1000 added to the Open. There will be added money again. An individual does not have to be a member to compete in the NE 4-D Warm-Up Race.

Open - You must have made one (1) approved run before 10/1/2022 as a PAID member to compete at the NE 4D Finals.

Youth Riders - Youth will be ages 8-13

To be eligible as a Youth at the finals you must be 13 or under a of the Finals and must have made one (1) approved run before 10/1/2022 as a PAID member to compete at the NE 4D Finals.

Youth can roll their times from the open to the youth, however, the youth must have purchased an open membership to be eligible to run in BOTH the open and the youth.

Pee Wee for kids 7 and under. (If a Pee Wee would rather run in the 8-13 group, they may do that BUT kids 7 & under can only compete in one division - either Pee Wee or Youth. Must have a 2022 Pee Wee membership or a Youth Membership purchased to run in the Youth.

At the NE 4D Finals the Pee Wee class will receive prizes as will the Youth. Producers are not required to have the Pee Wee division but they can if they choose to.
