The $9,600 Added 2024 NE-4D Finals are scheduled for October 18-20, 2024 at the Custer County Fairgrounds indoor arena in Broken Bow, NE. There will be $4,000 added to the Open on Saturday and $4,000 added to the Open on Sunday. There will be $250 added to the Youth (13 and under as of January 1, 2024) on Saturday and $250 added to the Youth on Sunday. Added money is covered, in part, by the annual membership dues. The average is the combined time of Saturday and Sunday barrel races. Prizes are awarded to the top 10 in each division of the Open and prizes also awarded to the Youth average winners. Prizes are covered by the awards fee paid by Producers from each NE-4D approved race. All Pee Wees (age 7 and under as of the date of the Finals) receive prizes.

The NE-4D Finals are a “clean-slate” barrel race event. No points are kept or used to determine standings or qualification to the event. To be eligible to compete in the 2024 NE-4D Finals (Saturday/Sunday) an individual must be a member of the NE-4D in good standing and have competed in at least one (1) NE-4D approved barrel race prior to October 1, 2024. The NE-4D Finals Warm-Up Race will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 the evening before the Saturday/Sunday State Finals barrel races. $1,000 will be added to the Open and $100 added to the Youth. An individual does not have to be a NE-4D member to compete in the NE-4D Finals Warm-Up Race.

Open - You must have made one (1) approved run on or before 9/30/2024 as a PAID member to compete at the NE 4D Finals.

Youth Riders - Youth will be ages 8-13

To be eligible as a Youth at the finals you must be 13 or under as of the Finals and must have made one (1) approved run on or before 9/30/2024 as a PAID member to compete at the NE 4D Finals.

Youth can roll their times from the open to the youth, however, the youth must have purchased an open membership to be eligible to run in BOTH the open and the youth.

Pee Wee for kids 7 and under. (If a Pee Wee would rather run in the 8-13 group, they may do that BUT kids 7 & under can only compete in one division - either Pee Wee or Youth. Must have a 2024 Pee Wee membership or a Youth Membership purchased to run in the Youth.

At the NE 4D Finals the Pee Wee class will receive prizes as will the Youth. Producers are not required to have the Pee Wee division but they can if they choose to.
